2010 Opening Schedule for Middle and Upper School

Dear Parents of New Students and Returning Students,

The faculty and staff join me in anticipation of the new school year. We are looking forward to being an integral part of your child's spiritual, academic and social development.

The following is the opening school schedule for grades 1 to 8:

September 8, 9,&10	8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Week of September 13th	Full Day Schedule – 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

If your child is entering Immaculate Heart of Mary School for the first time, the NYC Department of Health requires that a completed medical form be submitted prior to the first day of school. These forms were given to you in your application package. If you need a new one, you can stop into the office after August 16th and pick one up.

No child will be allowed to go to the classrooms without this form – NO exceptions.

Please check on the progress of the summer homework packages your child received. They must be turned in on the first day of school in most classes, but certainly during the first week of school. They will be graded and factored into the first trimester grades. Please help us ensure the semester begins on a strong academic note.
